Dr. Hernandez is board-certified in family practice. He earned his medical degree from the University of California Davis H.S. in 1995. Dr. Hernandez completed his internship at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1996 and his residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1998. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Hernandez was recognized as a five-star rated physician by Aetna Health. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He enjoys the outdoors and during his free time, is an avid outdoor sportsman.
